at The Quilted Fox. The fabrics are all batiks. The results are gorgeous! Our Disappearing 9-Patch Exchange was inspired by the techniques in Nancy Brenan Daniel's book, Slice 'Em & Dice 'Em Quilts. Each member in the exchange makes 80 nine-patch blocks. These are then collected, mixed and re-distributed. Each person then decides how she wants to slice and dice her blocks before re-assembling them into the final blocks. As you can see, there is a great deal of creativity and variety in the final result!
