130: Basic Machine Applique
Do you like the look of appliqué but don’t like hand work? Or want a faster method? Try quick and easy machine appliqué. In this class you will learn how to use the technique with any appliqué project. Requires a sewing machine with an adjustable zigzag stitch.

- Very light color for the background - 10 x 15 inches rectangle quilting cotton.
- Scraps: Solid colors and tone-on-tone blenders work best. Bring at least two colors.

PROJECT SUPPLIES
- Fusible web - 1 yard Heat n Bond Lite (available at Quilted Fox)
- Open toe presser foot for your sewing machine (if you aren't sure, bring all of your feet)
- Freezer paper - 10 x 15-inch piece
- Sewing machine with adjustable zigzag stitch. Be sure you know how to adjust the length and width of zigzag stitch. If you're unsure, please bring your manual.
- Pen
- Paper scissors
- Fabric scissors
- Spool of thread that contrasts with scraps.
- Filled bobbin that contrast with spool thread.
