This class will be a “how to” class, not an actual sewing class. You’ll have all your questions answered and the motivation to get started.

Have you wanted to learn how to measure and attach borders without ripples ? How do you make bindings? How to sew a mitered corner on a binding? How to sew bindings by machine? Or hand?

Choose your quilt project from 2 size and 2 layout options. Class work will include, making strip sets, making bias tubes for the appliqued Celtic knots and quilt assembly. Most sewing work will be done at home, hands on instruction for making the Celtic knots will occur in the classroom.

The following classes will cover color placement and techniques. All sewing will be done at home, and you will be able to pace yourself during the project. I loved doing this quilt as it was a new experience with each row added. Come join the camaraderie of the other students and have a good time making this 60x60 quilt of many colors.
