Class Policy — Register in person, by mail, or telephone using charge card, check or cash.  All classes must be paid for in full upon registration. There are no refunds on classes unless we cancel the class. If you cancel 12 days in advance, you will be issued a store credit. If you can’t make the class, send a friend. If we cancel a class, we’ll let you know at least 24 hours in advance and you will receive store credit or a refund. Class supplies must be purchased before class.  To help us keep the roof over your head during class, we would appreciate it if you would purchase your supplies at The Quilted Fox.We cannot call to remind you of a class.  Your registration receipt is your reminder. Also, the class you pay for is the class you must attend.  Any make-up will be at the teacher’s discretion.  Please review your class supply list prior to class and bring all items requested.

In this class you?ll learn the technique that you can then apply to any appliqu? project. Requires a sewing machine with an adjustable zigzag stitch.

Using a practice muslin quilt we will learn the basics of machine quilting. We will cover basting, marking, anchoring, stitching in the ditch, and straight line quilting designs with a walking foot. B

Learn the techniques of hand piecing. How to be accurate with both simple and difficult patterns will be covered. This is a technique class. Want to be able to take your project with you? Make one simple block and its mirror image. Arrange these to make a striking burst of color quilt. Once you learn the technique you can use the same block to design many different quilts.

Explore making a quilt that starts from the inside and builds to the finish on the outside. The first class will cover methods for selecting colors and fabrics for the quilt. The following classes will cover color placement and techniques. All sewing will be done at home, and you will be able to pace yourself during the project. I loved doing this quilt as it was a new experience with each row added. Come join the camaraderie of the other students and have a good time making this 60x60 quilt of many colors.

Carnivals are colorful and very fun places. Make your own carnival with wonderful Kaffe Fassett fabrics (or any colorful fabrics). This quilt is a perfect project for the newer quilter or the experienced. It goes together quickly and makes a very happy quilt!

Do you need a sleeve for a quilt to enter in a show or hang on your wall? Wendy will show several methods for making and attaching a sleeve to the back of your quilt, including the type required for entry into most shows. This is a "how to/explanation" class - no sewing machines! You'll leave with your questions answered and instructions to make sleeves at home.
