Class Policy — Register in person, by mail, or telephone using charge card, check or cash.  All classes must be paid for in full upon registration. There are no refunds on classes unless we cancel the class. If you cancel 12 days in advance, you will be issued a store credit. If you can’t make the class, send a friend. If we cancel a class, we’ll let you know at least 24 hours in advance and you will receive store credit or a refund. Class supplies must be purchased before class.  To help us keep the roof over your head during class, we would appreciate it if you would purchase your supplies at The Quilted Fox.We cannot call to remind you of a class.  Your registration receipt is your reminder. Also, the class you pay for is the class you must attend.  Any make-up will be at the teacher’s discretion.  Please review your class supply list prior to class and bring all items requested.

What do you do with all of those T-shirts? Create a one-of-a-kind, heirloom-quality quilt from your loved one’s shirt collection. Trudy will guide you through it! This class will be a “how to” class, not an actual sewing class. You’ll have all your questions answered and the motivation to get started.

An introductory pattern designed by Judy and Bradley Neimeyer that can be completed in just a few hours and used to learn the basic paper piecing techniques that can be applied to many of the lone star Quiltworx projects

Learn the techniques of hand piecing. How to be accurate with both simple and difficult patterns will be covered. This is a technique class. Want to be able to take your project with you? This is the class that will provide the answers for the details of your project. Suggested for East Quilts West.

Louise will be working with students on fabric choices, construction and organization techniques for completing this pattern by Lori Smith. Sewing will not occur in class, but at home in between the 4 class sessions that will be held January - June. Pattern purchase required.

If you have ever wanted to create an heirloom quilt or just relax and do hand work, come learn how to do a beautiful quilting stitch, how to layer, mark, and quilt a small sample.

Trudy will be working with students on fabric choices and construction tips for making this free pattern from Free Spirit Fabrics. Quilt size is 64.5" x 70". Stop by on a Monday or Tuesday and Trudy will help you select project fabrics. This will be a tips and fabric selection class, your quilt making will be done outside of class.

This is a two day class held on consecutive days. The 38" x 38" Twinkle Star pattern was designed by Judy and Bradley Niemeyer for paper piecing. This is a great beginner pattern, organized by 3 separate groups, A, B and C. It is small and manageable which incorporates some curved piecing as well as the lone star construction. Pattern purchase required ($27)
