Autumn Fox

This two-session class is for quilters who would like guidance on selecting fabrics for a large quilt and sewing blocks and quilt construction techniques. Autumn Fox is taught by Louise Georgia, who designed the two-block quilt. She will work with students in the first session on fabric selection and on block construction during the second session. The quilt was featured in Better Homes and Gardens when The Quilted Fox was chosen as one of ten featured shops in 2001. Pattern included.

FABRIC

1 ¼ yards of green print for blocks
3 1/8 yards of tan print for blocks
1 yard of rust print for blocks
3 ½ yards of multicolor Asian print for blocks and outer border
1 7/8 yards of brown print for blocks, border corners, and binding
5/8 yard of multicolor Asian floral print for blocks
3/8 yard of blue print for inner border
7 ½ yards for backing fabric

BATTING
90 x 115” of quilt batting

Project Supplies
2 ½” triangle paper
45 mm rotary cutter is the most useful
Rotary ruler - 6 x 24 inch and 6 x 12 inch ruler

Basic Sewing Supplies
Sewing machine in good condition with a new needle, filled bobbin, pins, thread, scissors, seam ripper and marking pencil.

Please bring paper and pencil for notes.

Enter the building through the Main Entrance and find us at the top of a short staircase.
Handicapped accessible parking and entrance with an elevator to the second floor is at the south side (left hand side as you face the front of the building) of the building.

CLASS POLICY
Register in person, by mail or call using credit, check or cash. All classes must be paid in full upon registration.

REFUNDS
No refunds issued unless we cancel the class. We notify you if a class is cancelled at least 24 hours in advance; you may receive a refund or a store credit. If you cancel 12 days in advance, you receive store credit. If you can't make it, send a friend!

FABRIC AND SUPPLIES
Please purchase class supplies at the Quilted Fox to keep our pretty store's roof over our heads. The class you pay for is the class you attend. Any make-up classes are at the teacher's discretion.

Your receipt is your class reminder - we don't make reminder calls. Please review the class supply list at home and bring everything with you.
