Mondo Bag


Come learn this simple technique and make the popular Mondo bag - a stylish, quilted multi-purpurse tote. Made with fabric and fusible interfacing that sews up quickly. Pattern purchase required.

FABRIC:

  • Outer bag: Made with 192 (outer) 2.5 inch squares and 4 handles (2.5 inch strips) OR 48 5-inch squares plus four 2.5" strips for handles.
  • Bag lining: 1 ¾ yard coordinating fabric
Please pre-cut the outer bag fabric squares prior to class!

PATTERN: Mondo Bag printerd interfacing by Quiltsmart required and available for purchase at The Quilted Fox.

PROJECT SUPPLIES:
  • Sewing machine with quarter inch foot
  • Applique pressing sheet (available for purchase at Quilted Fox)
  • Coordinating thread for topstitching
  • Scissors
  • Wonder clips
  • Pins
  • 24-inch ruler
  • Rotary cutter
Lunch:  If a class runs through lunch, you may bring a portable lunch and store in our small refrigerator.

Handicapped accessible parking and entrance with an elevator to the second floor is at the south side (left hand side as you face the front of the building) of the building.
CLASS POLICY
Register in person, by mail or call using credit, check or cash. All classes must be paid in full upon registration.

REFUNDS
No refunds issued unless we cancel the class. We notify you if a class is cancelled at least 24 hours in advance; you may receive a refund or a store credit. If you cancel 12 days in advance, you receive store credit. If you can't make it, send a friend!

FABRIC AND SUPPLIES
Please purchase class supplies at the Quilted Fox to keep our pretty store's roof over our heads. The class you pay for is the class you attend. Any make-up classes are at the teacher's discretion.

Your receipt is your class reminder - we don't make reminder calls. Please review the class supply list at home and bring everything with you.
