FABRICS AND BATTING
BAG BODY
- Bosal Katahdin on a roll 2 ½ inches x 50 yards
- Batting - 10 x 28 inch piece (for straps)
- 40 - 2 ½ inch x 42/44" (WOF) fabric strips for bag body

OR if you want your tote to look like the sample, you need 20 different fabrics 5" x 42/44 (WOF)

BINDING AND STRAPS
- ? yard fabric
- Batting 10" x 28"
OPTIONAL POCKET
- 1 yard
OPTIONAL NOTIONS
- Clover Fabric Tube Maker - highly recommended
- Jerry's Jelly Roll Jig - very helpful
- 4 buttons for pocket - not used in sample
- Thread to blend or contrast with your fabrics. I made my fabric tubes with matching threads and used a contrasting thread to assemble the tote bag.

BASIC SEWING SUPPLIES
- Pins
- Seam ripper
- Rotary cutter
- Sewing machine in good working order.
- Filled bobbin
- Scissors
HOMEWORK BEFORE CLASS
Please prepare bag fabric and bring to class.
- 40 - 2 ½ inch x 42/44" (WOF) fabric strips for bag body. If you are using a jelly roll, you are already done.
Cut the binding and straps into the following.
- 2 (two) 8" x 42/44" (WOF) for the binding.
- Cut the remaining fabric into 2 - 5" x 28" strips of fabric
- Cut the 10" x 28" piece of batting into 2 ((two) 5" x 28" strips
If you are making the pocket, cut 2 (two) 16 ½" x 32 ½: rectangles
