Poppa Elli

Our Christmas elephant, Poppa Elli is a project great for the confident beginner and up. He's jelly roll friendly and goes together with an angle technique that helps to keep measurements even and consistent. Poppa could be made with thoughtful combination of other seasonal strips as well.

Quilt dimension is 64" x 76"

Pattern: Poppa Elli pattern (available at the Quilted Fox)

Fabric:

One Christmas fabric jelly roll or other seasonal strips (40 2.5” strips needed)

3 ½ yards of background fabric

¾ yards black (with gold) for an inner border and some of the patches in Poppa Elli

Rulers:

Folded Corner Clipper ruler (small)

6 x 24” rulerll

Basic sewing supplies such as:

Sewing machine in good working

Pins

Scissors

Marking pen/pencil

Rotary Cutter (cutting mats available in the classroom)
