This six-session class will cover everything you need to know to make your first quilt top. It will include fabric and tool selection, rotary cutting, machine piecing, assembling your quilt top, and adding borders. Suggested second class is #114 Basic Machine Quilting.

Outer border: 1½ non-directional print or 1¾ directional print
Inner border and sashing: ⅔ yard

45 mm rotary cutter is the most useful
Rotary ruler - 6 x 24 inches or 8.5 x 24 inches 

Basic Sewing Supplies
Sewing machine in good condition with a new needle, pins, thread, scissors and marking pencil.

Please bring paper and pencil for notes.

Enter the building through the Main Entrance and find us at the top of a short staircase.
Handicapped accessible parking and entrance with an elevator to the second floor is at the south side (left hand side as you face the front of the building) of the building.

CLASS POLICY
Register in person, by mail or call using credit, check or cash. All classes must be paid in full upon registration.

REFUNDS
No refunds issued unless we cancel the class. We notify you if a class is cancelled at least 24 hours in advance; you may receive a refund or a store credit. If you cancel 12 days in advance, you receive store credit. If you can't make it, send a friend!

FABRIC AND SUPPLIES
Please purchase class supplies at the Quilted Fox to keep our pretty store's roof over our heads. The class you pay for is the class you attend. Any make-up classes are at the teacher's discretion.

Your receipt is your class reminder - we don't make reminder calls. Please review the class supply list at home and bring everything with you.
