Learn to quilt or improve your skills!
We have some classes in the next week that will teach you to quilt or help you improve your quilting skills.
Saturday, November 11 from 8:30 to 10:00, Louise Georgia is teaching her color class. Unlike an art class, Louise teaches color theory from the perspective of a quilter and uses fabric in the class as examples. She also talks about mixing prints. It's a great class for quilters of all experience levels. The class is $25.
Next week we are also starting new sessions of our Beginning Machine Piecing class with Linda Grabel. This is a six week series of classes that teach you all the basic skills to make a quilt top. It's great for beginners or if you just want to improve your accuracy and skills. The classes are offered on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 starting November 14 or on Friday mornings from 10:30 to 12:30 starting November 17. You'll be done by Christmas and have a completed quilt top. The class is $70.
