On Sunday, February 25, Linda Grabel is teaching her "Be There and Be Square" class. Nothing but squares and only four fabrics make this clever quilt easy peasy! This is the perfect showcase for fun big prints like novelties, Kaffe, florals, Asians or whatever your heart desires. Easy for beginners and fun for all! On Tuesday, February 27, Marsha Bray will be teaching Beginning Free Motion Quilting from 1:00 to 4:00. Using a practice muslin “quilt,” we will learn the basics of free motion machine quilting. With a darning foot, we'll practice stippling and other simple filler patterns. We'll practice quilting a marked design. Then we'll learn about threads, tension, tools, and techniques to improve your quilting. Pre-requisite class is #114 Beginning Machine Quilting. $25.
Just a quick reminder that we are looking for finished Blooming 9 Patch quilts made from Quilted Fox fabric or in a Quilted Fox class. We'll be having a quilt show of these quilts on March 10 here at the shop. Call us if you are willing to loan us your quilt for this one day show.
