New Year at The Quilted Fox! Happy New Year to you all! Here at The Quilted Fox we're starting the new year off with a new block-of-the-month. There are only 10 spaces still open in our 1st & 3rd Saturday group that starts this month. The theme is The Fox Tiptoes Through the Tulips and is inspired by landscape of the Netherlands. Have you always wanted to do a a quilt with the classic pineapple block but are intimidated by the precision needed? On Saturday, January 19 from 1 to 4, Velora Mowry is teaching a new way of making the blocks with a bloc-loc ruler. It's fast, easy and really accurate. You need to see it to believe it! You can try the technique and make her beautiful small wall quilt/table topper or you can learn the technique and use it to make a larger quilt. Click on the photo for more info!It's a mystery in February! Join in the fun on the magical mystery (quilt)  tour. Come along with Candy Grisham on a five month journey making a quilt based on monthly instructions and guidance. We will meet once to talk about fabric selection and help pick out fabrics. Each month we will meet briefly to see your progress and get instructions for the next part of the quilt; cutting, block piecing; setting the blocks etc. The quilt is offered in two sizes and is appropriate for all levels of sewers. It would make a great beginner quilt but is also fun for the more experienced quilter. By breaking it down into steps over several months you will have a finished product at the end.
