Beat The Boredom With Winter Quilt Classes!


Hello everyone,

It snowed a bunch and more is on the way! Between snows, why not learn a new technique or get inspired with a new project! We have lots of great classes this winter that will help beat the boredom! If the roads are bad the day of your class, never fear! We don't like to risk our lives either. We'll cancel or reschedule the class. You won't lose your class fee. Call us to register for any of these great classes.

Saturday, January 19--1:00 pm-4:00 pm--In this class, you'll learn a quicker, fun and accurate way to make the pineapple block using the Bloc-loc pineapple ruler. Cost: $ 25.00

Saturday, February 2--10:30 pm-1:30 pm--Think about creative curves! Using freezer paper learn how to insert curves in your own design. Cost: $ 25.00 (Photo at left)

Saturday, February 2--2:30 pm-3:30 pm-- What do you do with all of those T-shirts? Create a one-of-a-kind, heirloom-quality quilt from your loved one’s shirt collection. Trudy will guide you through it! This class will be a “how to” class, not an actual sewing class. You’ll have all your questions answered and the motivation to get started.  Cost: $ 21.00 (Photo at right)

Tuesdays, February 5 & 19--2:30 pm - 4:30 pm-- If you have taken the Beginning Machine Piecing class, this is the perfect class for your second quilt project. It's also a fun quilt for all skill levels! Cost: $ 30.00

Wednesdays, February 6, 13 & 30--1:30 pm-3:30 pm--Learn the basic skills and techniques of needleturn hand applique. Cost: $ 60.00

Thursday, February 7--1:00 pm to 4:00 pm--Have you wanted to learn how to measure and attach borders without ripples and how to do straight or bias bindings? Cost: $ 21.00

Saturday, February 9--10:30 am to 1:30 pm--Trudy puts the Kaffe Fassett twist on the Hexie craze with this bright and cheerful design from Australian designer Jen Kingwell.  Cost: $ 25.00 (Photo at left)

Thursday, February 14--2:00 pm to 3:00 pm-- Join in the fun on the magical mystery (quilt) tour. Come along on a five month journey making a quilt based on monthly instructions and guidance. Great for new quilters but also fun for the more experienced quilter.

Building Entry

  • You will enter the building through the Main Entrance and find us at the top of a short staircase.
    Handicapped accessible parking and entrance with an elevator to the second floor is at the south side (left hand side as you face the front of the building) of the building.
