A happy, healthy and joyful 2022 to you and yours

     We sent an email that many of you have told me you did not receive so I am repeating some of the news from last week.

     The Fox Sings the Blues has been finalized and the first month’s blocks are on the wall with a picture of the completed quilt. It is starting in February on the First and Third Saturdays. The cost is $78.00 for both the main and alternate blocks for the 12-month program. The finishing kit has not been priced yet, but it will be just the cost of the fabrics included. This year we will be accepting those who wish to have it mailed to them. The details are located on the website under BOM. A new plan this year is to have a free class for those who want help in piecing the blocks. It will be held in February on Saturday, February 19^th at 10:00. The First and Third participants who would like to come will be welcome. At this point both groups will have received their blocks.

     The new class schedule is on the website now for you all to check out. Having a new classroom is going to be fun and hopefully it is used often. We have had inquiries about East Quilts West which has already started up. Join us now (next class is Saturday, January 15^th from 10:30-12:30pm) and explore color and design. New students always welcomed. Thursday, January 27^th is Dresden Still Life from 10:30-1:30pm by Candy Grisham. Learn from the master. Also, Sampler Magic (the French quilt by the front door) is offered from 2-4pm on Saturday, January 29th with an emphasis on fabric selection and piecing tips. Finally, Needle Turn Applique is offered 10:30-1:30pm on January 29^th with Judy Hoffman.
