Hello everyone,

Thursday, Sept 1st is the kickoff of the All Missouri Shop Hop.  There are 70 shops around the state that are participating.  It is broken down into 5 regions with corresponding prizes for each region.  The passport is in the magazine that we have here in the shop.  When you receive your stamp for coming, you will be given a free cotton patch that has a unique saying for each shop.  It will last through October so you have lots of time to visit many of the shops  We even have specially made Missouri fabrics for your designing. 

The Quilt Sleeve class is Sept 13th from 11:00 to noon and is $10.00  Wendy will cover how to make a sleeve and what is necessary to put on a quilt  to be entered in a show.  This will be a nice quick and easy learning hour.  You can call (314 993-1181) to sign up.

Demo night is Sept 22nd which is a Thursday.  We will be having different stations to visit with lots of information and handouts.  Following we will be giving out many, many door prizes.  It will be from 6:30-8:00  Circle your calendar. 

Still time to make some Halloween projects and we have some great ones here.  Come check out and see if you can guess what glows in the dark.
